Just six days after it was repaired, a road in Pune's Dhayari area was seen melting, and people of the area struggled to walk on it as their footwear got stuck.

This comes days after a newly made road was dug up by a builder in the same area just four days after renovation.

The Dhayari area sees heavy traffic during peak hours, and residents are slamming the civic administration for shoddy work.

The melted road triggered strong reactions online. While some blamed the heat, others claimed that substandard work led to the melting of bitumen and inconvenience to commuters.The melting asphalt forced vehicle riders to drive cautiously to avoid getting slipped.

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) had made the Umbrya Ganapati Chowk road in Dhayari just six days ago.
