Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Actor Saif Ali Khan recently shared a light-hearted yet unusual glimpse of his family life by revealing how brutally honest his son Taimur Ali Khan was about his 2023 film Adipurush. While speaking with Jaideep Ahlawat on the Netflix India YouTube channel, the actor narrated an instance when his 9-year-old son did not quite like the way his father performed in the mythological epic.

“I just showed him Adipurush recently. Then, after a while, he started giving me a look,” Saif recalled with a chuckle. “Then I said, ‘Yeah, sorry.’ He said, ‘It’s okay.’ He forgave me.”

Both actors and viewers were left in splits by the wholesome anecdote, showcasing Saif’s self-deprecating charm and his son’s unabashed honesty.

Adipurush: A Controversial Take On An Epic

Adipurush featured Prabhas as Ram and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh, the film’s antagonist. As the name suggests, the movie is based on the epic tale of Ramayana. Even with a star-studded cast and grand plans, the movie received severe backlash for its visual effects, dialogue, and overall interpretation of the revered tale. The criticism easily overshadowed the excitable marketing. The Saif’s halfhearted apologies demonstrate the prevailing reaction to the film.

Taimur’s Encounter During Ahlawat’s Meeting On Set

Just Jaideep Ahlawat unfurled his memories about filming ‘Jaane Jaan’ with Kareena, he recounted one of the more funny interactions with Taimur.  Jaideep said he was met with a lovely “hello”, as Taimur had been briefed about him and that he “happened to be the hero of the movie.”

Jaideep fished for further quotes, “What was your answer, Taimur?” and to this day he responds with “Isn’t there a producer as well?” It was humorous certainly but wow, Jaideep exclaimed. Where exactly did this come from?”

Taimur remarked with full curiosity and this carefree touches allowed the promotion of Jewel Thief, which is the Netflix project starring Saif Ali Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Nikita Dutta.
