Sita Navami 2025: According to the Hindu calendar, the festival of Sita Navami is celebrated with great reverence and devotion as the birth anniversary of Goddess Sita. It is believed that on this day, fast and worship are formed by fast marriage and all the obstacles coming in marriage are removed.

Worshiping Mother Sita and Lord Shri Ram is considered special fruitful on the day of Sita Navami. Especially for those who have been facing delays or hurdles in marriage for a long time. At the same time, married women worship fast and methodically on this day, then they get unbroken good fortune.

Sita Navami 2025 date and auspicious time

According to Vedic almanac, Sita Navami is celebrated on the Navami date of Vaishakh month Shukla Paksha. In the year 2025, this date will start from 7:35 am on May 5 and will remain till 8:38 am on May 6.
According to Udaya Tithi, the fast will be kept on 5 May 2025, Monday.

Offer sixteen makeup to Mata Sita

If someone is delayed in marriage or is not getting a qualified life partner, then worship Goddess Sita by law on the day of Sita Navami. Also offer them sixteen makeup content and
"Shri Janaki Ramabhyam Namah" Chant the mantra 108 times. This makes the sum of marriage quickly.

The youth whose wish is of love marriage, they should observe a fast by following all the rules on this day. Worship Lord Rama and Mother Sita together and offer the material of Chunri and makeup to Mother Sita. After this, recite Janaki Stotra.   • If there is any kind of delay or obstacle in marriage, then worship Lord Shri Ram and Goddess Lakshmi on the day of Sita Navami.

  • It is the belief that after doing this remedy with reverence, all the obstacles coming in the marriage are eliminated and the sum of marriage starts soon.

The fast of Sita Navami is also considered extremely fruitful for married women. By observing fast on this day and worshiping methodically, women get a boon of unbroken good fortune and longevity of husband. On this day, worshiping Mother Sita and offering adornment at her feet keeps love and dedication in married life.
