Vijay Sethupathi is all set to launch his new film, touted as a love story. The film was tentatively titled VJS52 has now been named officially as Thalaivan Thalaivii.

The film features the actor in the role of a street food vendor, also starring Nithya Menen playing the role of his wife, in the rugged love story helmed by Pandiraaj.

The teaser begins with the voice of a women who draws praise for the new bride stating that she is now left with no problems. It then continues with a feature of the lead duo Vijay Sethupathi, and Nithya Menen, working through a street-style Parotta shop.

The music has been composed by Santhosh Narayanan, and the DOP and editing is channelised by M Sukumar and Pradeep E Ragav.

Vijay Sethupathi’s upcoming projects

On the work front, Vijay Sethupathi is looped in for a film with Puri Jagannadh. The film is tentatively titled Puri Sethupathi and touted to be a drama thriller. It will star Tabu in a leading role, with Radhika Apte expected to portray an important role. The production will begin in June this year and will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada.

Vijay Sethupathi is also for the other set of films include ace and train. Meanwhile, nithya menen last appeared on Kadhalikka NRAMILLAI.
