Kedarnath Trek Route: Kedarnath Temple, located in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand state, is a major religious place, where millions of devotees come to visit every year. There are many small and big stops in this journey, such as Jungle Chatti, Bhimbali, Linchauli, and finally the Kedarnath base camp. After these stops, devotees reach close to the Kedarnath temple, where they get the benefit of divine darshan.

Trekking difficulty and available services

The Kedarnath trek is placed in moderate to difficult category. It usually takes 6 to 8 hours to complete this trek. Horse or mule service is available for those who are unable to travel on foot, which costs between ₹ 2500 to ₹ 4000. Apart from this, palanquin service is also available especially for the elderly and unable to devotees.
