Babil Khan have created a buzz online with his breakdown video that went viral. Since then fans have expressed his concern for the actor’s well-being. After few hours of posting the video, his family posted a statement online stating that the video’s statement was misinterpreted.
On 4 May, the actor posted on his Instagram story a repost of Kubbra Sait’s post, stating, “Art of silence” to which he wrote, “Thank you so much. The video was extremely misinterpreted, I was trying to show support to @ananyapanday, @shanayakapoor02, @gouravadarsh, @arjunkapoor, @raghavjuyal, @arijitsingh.”
He added, “I genuinely don’t have the energy to indulge more but I do this as responsibility for my peers that I truly admire.”
Ananya Panday too reshared the post on Instagram and penned, “Only love and good energy for you Babil, always in ur corner” with a bicep, red-heart, folded hand, and a hug emoji.
He then re-shared Raghav Juyal’s post and wrote, “@raghavjuyal bhai you are my icon, my idol and my elder brother that I never had,” with a heart-emoji. Reacting to Siddhant Chaturvedi’s story, he penned in a heartwarming note, “@siddhantchaturvedi I love you brother.”
His reaction to the video had arrived hours after his family issues an official statement. The statement made by his team clearly indicated that the message portrayed in the clip was ‘taken out of context.’
Babil’s family asserted that the mention of artists, more importantly his contemporaries was done not because they have bullied him in a way but for their impeccable body of work.
On the work front, Babil starred in Zee 5’s cyber-thriller, Logout, helmed by Amit Golani. It also starred Rasika Dugal, Gandharv Dewan, and Nimisha Nair in the pivotal roles.
