Let us inform you that along with the result of NEET UG, the cutoff will also be released. The cutoff is different for students of every category, so the question arises that how much can the cutoff of OBC category go this year? Let's know the answer to this...
These factors affect the cutoff
The cutoff of NEET UG depends on the difficulty in the exam, how many more and less students have given the exam and how many seats are there for UG courses in the country. If the paper is difficult or fewer people have appeared in the exam or a new medical college has opened then the cutoff goes down, otherwise the cutoff increases.
How much will the cutoff of OBC go?
Experts are of the opinion that the cutoff can give some relief to the OBC category this time. Since the qualifying percentile to pass is 40 percent, this year the cutoff of NEET UG can go to 161-127, giving relief to the OBC category. In such a situation, the cutoff for SC and ST can also go to 161-127.
