Recently, a video went viral showing Babil Khan in tears as he named actors like Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, and Adarsh Gourav. In the video, he also said that Bollywood is “screwed and fu**ed.” After the video sparked controversy, Babil’s team issued a statement clarifying that he was actually trying to appreciate his peers for their “meaningful contributions to Indian cinema.”

After Babil shared the statement via Kubbra Sait’s Instagram account, Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal and Adarsh Gourav reacted to it.

Ananya wrote, “ Only love and good energy for you Babil, always in your corner."

He also shared a lengthy note, saying, “He usually never engages with the things written about him and his colleagues, but this one felt personal. To all the Redditors, gossip columns, and media portals, he asked them to stop. He questioned, ‘We love to hate and hate to love—is this what we’ve come to?’ and urged everyone to stop looking for drama where there is none, reminding them that they’re all working hard to bring drama to screens instead.”

Adarsh Gourav also shared the statement and wrote, “Only love and support for you brother.”

After Babil shared the statement and Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal and Adarsh Gourav reacted to it, Reddit users felt it was ‘damage control.’

A statement issued by Babil Khan’s family and team said that over the past few years, he has earned immense love and appreciation for both his work and his openness about his mental health journey. It noted that, like anyone else, Babil is allowed to have difficult days — and this was one of them. The statement reassured his well-wishers that he is safe and will be feeling better soon.

 It further added that his mention of artists such as Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, Adarsh Gourav, Arjun Kapoor, and Arijit Singh came from a place of genuine admiration
