Maharashtra Board HSC 12th Result 2025: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, MSBSHSE, released the Maharashtra HSC Result 2025. Along with the Maha Class 12th Results, the board is also expected to announce the MSBSHSE Class 12th District-wise Pass Percentage and other important details. Kolhapur: 93.64%

Mumbai: 92.93%

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: 92.24%

Nagpur: 90.52%

Latur: 89.46% (Lowest)

Top and Bottom Performing Divisions in Maharashtra HSC 2025:

Highest Pass Percentage: Konkan division leads with 96.74% among regular students.

Lowest Pass Percentage: Latur division records the lowest at 89.46%.

In Maharashtra, a total of 14,27,085 regular students from nine divisional boards — Pune, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur, and Konkan — had registered for the Class 12 board examinations across streams such as science, arts, commerce, vocational courses, and ITI branches. Of these, 14,17,969 students actually appeared for the exam. With 13,02,873 students successfully passing, the overall pass percentage stood at an impressive 91.88%.

The Maharashtra Board Class 12 results for private candidates show a pass percentage of 83.73%. Out of 36,133 students who registered, 35,697 took the exam, and 29,892 managed to pass.

After the declaration of results, students who have appeared for the Higher Secondary Certificate examination will be able to apply for reverification of marks and revaluation of answer sheets.

Students can submit their revaluation or reverification applications for any mandatory subject (not category subjects) through an online process from May 6 to May 20, 2025. The application should be paid by the payment of the prescribed fee through Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, or Net Banking.

The board also instructed students who are interested in revaluation to approach their respective departmental boards for proper guidance and instructions.

The MSBSHSE HSC General and Vocational Exams 2025 were held from February 11 to March 11, 2025. Both streams had the same schedule this year.

In 2024, Class 12 results were released on May 21. The examinations were conducted from February 21 to March 19, and the overall pass percentage was 93.37%, an improvement from 91.25% in 2023. A total of 14,33,371 students had registered, of which 14,23,970 appeared and 13,29,684 passed the exams. Interestingly, 2023 had witnessed a fall in the pass percentage to that of 94.22% in 2022, but the 2024 results brought a welcome turnabout.
