Chum Darang, who rose to fame after her appearance in Bigg Boss 18, recently reflected on her experience working in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s acclaimed 2022 film Gangubai Kathiawadi, starring Alia Bhatt. Despite having no dialogue in the film, Chum calls the opportunity a “dream come true” and says she is proud of being associated with such a prestigious project.
In an open conversation with Zoom, Chum explained how individuals have questioned her inclusion of Gangubai Kathiawadi in her repertoire. “Several times people messaged me saying, ‘There’s not even a single dialogue of yours in the movie. Besides Gangubai Kathiawadi, Chum has worked in Badhaai Do (2022) with Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar, and played a part in the critically acclaimed show Paatal Lok (2020).
