Olympique de Marseille are in talks to sign Lille OSC midfielder Angel Gomes (24), according to a report from The team. The Englishman’s contract with LOSC expires at the end of the season.

Gomes will leave DOGUES at the end of the campaign and he has already played his last game for the club. Once it became obvious that he would not extend, he has been kept on the outskirts of the first team set-up. He has not played since the 1st March and he is not expected to feature in the final two gameweeks of the Ligue 1 campaign.

The England international is the subject of intense interest from the Premier League. In a bid to beat the competition, Marseille have already opened talks with the Manchester United academy product, The team understands. Those talks have been ongoing for several weeks and have now led to the club making a contract offer.
