Due to the state government’s flawless preparations for the Miss World 2025 contest, the City of Pearls is prepared to shine on the international scene. On May 10, the Gachibowli Stadium will host a grand opening event for the Miss World pageant.
The magnificent inaugural event will attract state public officials and celebrities from a variety of industries. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy asked the authorities to give the students of government Gurukuls, BC, SC, ST Welfare Residential Schools, Model Schools, and Kasturba Schools a chance to observe the Miss World celebrations for a day during the city’s 20-day events. The state police department has been warned to increase surveillance and make stringent security arrangements until the event ends on May 31.
The Chief Minister gave the authorities instructions to give excellent hospitality and free of obstacles to visitors from across the globe at the review meeting with high-ranking officials held here.
To effectively fulfill the duties entrusted to them, all departments—including the tourism department—should collaborate with all authorities, according to Revanth Reddy.
The Miss World contenders that visit well-known tourist destinations like as Charminar, Lad Bazaar, the Secretariat’s Telangana Thalli monument, and several other tourist destinations in the state will have access to separate transportation.
The Chief Minister requested that the authorities create backup plans in addition to security measures to deal with any unforeseen or undesired circumstances that could occur. The Chief Minister also emphasized the need for safety measures to prevent traffic jams and power outages at Hyderabad’s Miss World event venues.
He suggested making appropriate preparations in advance based on the weather prediction. Even if the city is battered by heavy rains and winds, the GHMC and HYDRAA departments should remain vigilant to make sure that nothing goes wrong. Police officers have been urged to increase security at hotels that host foreign visitors.
