The admission process at Delhi University is about to start. For this, the guidelines have already been issued by the university. It explains the rules for taking admission to various courses of the university so that the students do not face any kind of problem. Apart from this, it has also been clarified that admission to the university will be based on CUET score. However, the process of admission to the university for the School of Open Learning and NCWEB and foreign students will be different.
Admissions to DU are taken based on the cutoff of the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate. This exam is to be held from 8 May to 1 June, the admission process at DU will start formally only after its results are out. Only based on the CUET cutoff, students will be able to apply through the Common Seat Allocation System of Delhi University. For this, official dates can be announced by the university soon.
What is the complete process of admission to DU?
1- CUET UG Exam: The students must clear this exam for admission to Delhi University. It is organized by the National Testing Agency. This year the exam is proposed between 8 May and 1 June. Further process will be done only after its result comes.
2- Registration in CSAS: If you are successful in this exam, then you have to register on DU's CSAS UG portal. In this, you can select the preferred college. For registration, you will need many documents i.e. Aadhar card, mark sheet.
3- Choice Filling: After registration in the portal, you have to do choice filling. You have to choose your preferred college and course. After this you will see the list of all colleges and courses, on which you have to lock the seat.
4- Seat Allotment: Seats will be allotted to the students through CSAS UG only, it will be based on the marks obtained in CUET and the colleges and courses selected.
5- This is the admission process: After the seat allotment, students will have to go to the respective college and complete the admission process. Fees will have to be deposited and necessary documents will also have to be submitted.
