The Bolero is one of the most iconic cars within the Mahindra portfolio and like the Scorpio, it has been a huge seller for the brand. Now the new Bolero is a big moment and the new generation model will come to India with a new monocoque platform. Mahindra will unveil a concept and this platform on the 15th of August this year.

This new platform will support petrol and diesel but also will spawn an electric version. Which means the new Bolero would be electric too. Other than the new Bolero, there would be other new concepts based on this platform as well. This new platform will underpin the future products for Mahindra and it will start from 2027. This new platform could mean more efficiency, more space and better packaging which would be there owing to the monocoque architecture.

Unlike other and earlier launches which happened on 15th of August, this time we will see no new launch as instead we will get a new platform. Mahindra has a robust new product lineup until 2030 and this platform is crucial to that. We will know more details soon but in concept form we can gauge an idea as to how the Bolero will look like. The Bolero in its new generation would be a rugged new SUV placed between the Scorpio and the smallest XUV3XO while expanding Mahindra's lineup.
