Tokyo Olympic gold medallist Neeraj Chopra will compete against several Olympic medallists, including Thomas Röhler and Anderson Peters, at the inaugural edition of the Neeraj Chopra Classic javelin throw competition.

The event is scheduled to take place at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru on May 24. Organisers have announced that tickets for the day-long competition—set to welcome over 12,000 spectators—are now on sale.

The Athletics Federation of India (AFI) is the official sanctioning body for the event.

Ticket prices range from Rs 199 to Rs 44,999. Those looking for a premium experience can purchase the tickets worth Rs 44,999 and five corporate boxes have been constructed, having a capacity of 15 guests. A special stand has been constructed alongside the thrower’s runway, allowing fans to get an up-close view of the action. Tickets for this stand are priced at Rs 9,999. Additionally, another special stand has been set up in the North Upper Stand of the stadium, located just behind the thrower’s runway, with tickets available for Rs 2,999, as per the official press release.

The state association and government bodies including Karnataka Olympic Association (KOA) and Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports (DYES) have been working closely with the Government of Karnataka to deliver a world-class event.
