India's batting stalwart, Virat Kohli, opened up about his friendship with pacer  during an interview. The players are currently playing in the ongoing IPL 2025 for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Gujarat Titans (GT), respectively. As per the right-handed batter, Ishant is his 'go-to' person with whom he can share everything without fear of being judged.

The pacer has played for India in all three formats and has taken tons of wickets. He was a regular bowler in red-ball cricket, playing 105 matches. He has taken 311 wickets in his Test career at an average of 32.40. There are many matches where he has performed well and taken the team home.

RCB shared a video on social media where Kohli was talking about Ishant and their bond. Both players play for Delhi in the Ranji Trophy and have represented India together.

"Ishant is someone that I very naturally connected with and like absolutely nothing has changed from Day 1. Regardless of whether we have played together or we don’t play together anymore, when I see him it’s exactly the same. I can absolutely share everything with him without any judgement. With complete understanding and complete empathy. So he is a very special individual in my life," said Virat Kohli.
