Police have arrested two men after a man was stabbed to death inside a bank in Derby city centre. The man, who was a customer, was stabbed inside the Lloyds bank in St Peter's Street at around 2.35pm on Tuesday afternoon.

The victim, aged in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene. While formal identification has not taken place, his family have been made aware. Police said a man in his 40s was arrested at a property in Western Road, Normanton, at around 6pm on suspicion of murder. A man in his 30s was also arrested at the same property on suspicion of assisting an offender.
