Rahul took a dig at Virat for his statement after accidentally liking Avneet Kaur ’s bold photoshoot on Instagram. The cricketer blamed his algorithm for liking the post, which triggered a meme fest on social media, connecting Virat and Anushka.
Later, Rahul shared a video on Instagram in which he said that Virat might not have personally blocked him on Instagram — it might have been done by his algorithm. He then posted a note on his Instagram story saying, “Virat Kohli’s fans are even bigger jokers than Virat,” which sparked a cyberattack against him and his family.

Now, the singer has responded to the issue in a recent video and stated that he simply wanted to know why Virat blocked him on Instagram.
In an airport video shared by Filmymantra, Rahul said that his wife and family received a lot of abusive messages on social media following his video. He reiterated that Virat’s fans are bigger jokers than him.
When the reporter pointed out that fans might have been offended by him calling Virat a “joker,” Rahul responded, “I did not say anything wrong about him. I'm a big cricket fan. But he has to tell me why he blocked me, right?”

The reporter's next question won the internet: “But sir, does Virat Kohli even have that much time to block you?”
To which Rahul replied, “But we have a lot of time" (Hamara paas toh bahut time hai).” Many of the social media users called Rahul 'arrogant', while some showered praise on the reporter for his last question.

Virat Kohli had not reacted to the ongoing issues following his statement, and he was seen not attending the victory celebration of his team in the IPL match.
