According to Dimsum Dailythe rumors gained traction after Lucas, 18, attended his father’s Evolution Nic Live concert series last month. Online sources have suggested that Lucas has been admitted to the University of Cambridge’s physics program. This follows his well-known interest in science, with one notable example being his recreation of a robotic arm model originally designed by his father a decade ago. The model is now part of the Hong Kong Science Museum’s collection.

Neither Cheung nor Tse has confirmed the reports. Both Lucas and his younger brother Quintus currently attend the International Christian School (ICS) in Sha Tin, a popular institution for the children of celebrities. Quintus, 15, has also shown an aptitude for science, winning a special creativity award at the Geneva Invention Exhibition for creating an innovative smart feeder made from recycled mineral water bottles.

Cheung has often shared insights into her sons’ education on social media, emphasizing how important their schooling is to her. In one video, she described her early mornings spent ensuring her sons are ready for school.

“I anticipated waking up early; I’m very nervous. I have a great mission: to get my sons to school,” Cheung said. “They need to wake up at 6:30 a.m., and I need to wake them up at 5 a.m., so I go to bed early.”

Lucas and Quintus are the sons of Tse and Cheung, who married in 2006 and divorced in 2011. Despite the divorce, Tse maintains a strong bond with his children, often spending quality time together skiing and engaging in other activities. The brothers were spotted dining with their father before one of his concerts in Hong Kong this April.

Tse, 45, entered the entertainment industry in 1996 as a singer and made his acting debut two years later.

Cheung, 45, first rose to prominence in 1998 with a television commercial for lemon tea, which caught the eye of Hong Kong filmmaker Stephen Chow. Her film debut came in Chow’s 1999 hit “King of Comedy,” where she played a call girl. The film was the highest-grossing local production of that year and launched Cheung into stardom.

In 2018, Cheung welcomed her third son but has kept the identity of the father private, sparking speculation. Chinese media tycoon Sun Donghai was rumored to be the father, but he has denied these claims and threatened legal action against those spreading the rumors.
