Bank of Baroda New FD Scheme: Bank of Baroda (BOB), one of the largest public sector banks, recently launched a new fixed deposit (FD) scheme called 'Bob Square Drive Deposit Scheme'. The scheme was launched on 7 April, and earlier it was offering an annual interest rate of 7.15%.

However, the bank has now reduced the interest rate on this FD. This special FD is for 444 days, which is similar to the 'Amrit Vrishti' scheme of the State Bank of India. This special scheme of SBI is also for 444 days. The new interest rates of Bank of Baroda have become effective from 5 May 2025.

Interest Rate in BOB Square Drive Deposit Scheme-

The bank has changed its fixed deposit (fd) rates. The annual interest rate for general citizens has come down from 7.15% to 7.10%. Senior citizens will now get 7.60% interest, which was earlier 7.65%. At the same time, the interest rate for very senior citizens has come down from 7.75% to 7.70%. Thus, the bank has reduced the interest rate by 0.05% on all FDs.

Interest on BOB FD-

7 days to 14 days - 4.00 percent for the general public; 4.50 percent for senior citizens

15 days to 45 days - 4.00 percent for the general public; 4.50 percent for senior citizens

46 days to 90 days - 5.50 percent for the general public; 6 percent for senior citizens

91 days to 180 days - 5.60 percent for the general public; 6.10 percent for senior citizens

181 days to 210 days - 5.75 per cent for the general public; 6.25 per cent for senior citizens

211 days to 270 days - 6.25 per cent for the general public; 6.75 per cent for senior citizens

271 days and above and less than 1 year - 6.50 per cent for the general public; 7 per cent for senior citizens

1 year - 6.80 per cent for the general public; 7.30 per cent for senior citizens

More than 1 year and less than 400 days - 6.80 per cent for the general public; 7.40 per cent for senior citizens

More than 400 days and up to 2 years - 6.80 per cent for the general public; 7.40 per cent for senior citizens

More than 2 years and up to 3 years - 7.00 per cent for the general public; 7.50 percent for senior citizens

More than 3 years and up to 5 years - 6.80 percent for the general public; 7.30 percent for senior citizens

More than 5 years to 10 years - 6.50 percent for the general public; 7.50 percent for senior citizens

More than 10 years (Court Order Scheme) - 6.25 percent for the general public; 6.75 percent for senior citizens

444 days - (Square Drive Deposit Scheme) - 7.10 percent for the general public; 7.60 percent for senior citizens
