Emma confides in Joss about Dalton’s big secret

Emma tells Joss that she’s changed—grief over Dex’s death has transformed her. Joss reveals she’s throwing herself into Dalton’s class to find meaning. But Emma warns Joss that Dalton is not what he seems.

Emma confesses the real reason she was expelled from Berkeley: she broke into Dalton’s lab and found disturbing evidence of animal testing on not just rats, but also dogs. She signed an NDA to avoid jail but is determined to expose Dalton by landing the research assistant job.

Joss reports back to Brennan about Dalton

At the WSB office, Vaughn updates Brennan that Joss saw Dalton meeting with Anna Devane. Brennan is suspicious, especially after Vaughn adds that Dalton left a mysterious briefcase in a GH lab. When Joss arrives, she confirms Emma knows more than expected. Brennan warns that Anna cannot find out or she’ll interfere. He then assigns Joss her mission: get the research assistant job and monitor Dalton’s dangerous tech project.

Kristina makes peace with Ric and Ava

Kristina finds Ric and Ava at her mother’s home. Ric insists he wants to rebuild for Molly’s sake. Kristina announces she’s letting go of her anger toward both of them. After they leave, Molly arrives, and the family begins to heal.

Dante confronts Gio over Rocco’s drinking incident

Laura talks to Rocco, who confesses he drank too much at a party. Cody kept him safe, and Laura reassures him that mistakes happen. But tensions rise when Dante confronts Lois and Gio. He accuses Gio of endangering Rocco and lashes out at Lois for coddling him.

Lulu intervenes, saying Dante went too far. Lois reminds Dante that Gio stayed with Rocco and helped, unlike most. After storming off, Gio runs to the beach and tells Emma about the fallout with Dante, who he now feels doesn’t respect him at all.
