As the continues to squeeze household budgets, savvy Brits are being encouraged to cut one of the easiest bills to slash. While energy, food, and rent prices have surged, phone costs have quietly fallen to historic lows, yet many people are still unknowingly .

Now, MoneySavingExpert, the consumer advice site founded by , has highlighted a bargain SIM-only deal that offers 35GB of data, plus unlimited calls and texts, for the equivalent of just £3.30 a month.

The deal, available through Lebara, gives users 35GB of monthly data and runs on Vodafone's network. For the first eight months, the SIM costs just £1 per month, before rising to £7.90 for the remaining four months. Spread over a year, that works out at just £3.30 per month on average.

Even better, the contract is one-month rolling, meaning users can cancel at any time without penalty.

In a post titled "MSE Blagged", the MoneySavingExpert blog described the deal as one of the best-value SIM-only plans currently on the market, especially given today's cost-of-living pressures.

"Want different data? See Cheap Mobile Finder," the site advised, highlighting options for users with varying needs.

Martin Lewis, the consumer champion behind MoneySavingExpert, has consistently warned Brits not to overpay for phone plans. Many customers, he says, are still spending £30 or more per month unnecessarily, even after paying off their handsets.

He previously said: "Mobile phone bills are one of the few things going down, yet people are still needlessly overspending," Lewis said in a recent appearance.

He stressed how easy it is to switch networks, keep your number, and save money. All users need to do is text 'PAC' to 65075 to receive a code, then give that to their new provider to port their number across, often in just one working day.

While some heavy data users may need larger allowances, most Brits don't: the average UK mobile user consumes just 4GB per month, meaning even cheaper plans are widely available.

This new Lebara deal could be a game-changer for millions looking to cut back on monthly expenses without sacrificing coverage or convenience.
