Mumbai: A bomb threat email sent to Tata Memorial Hospital on Today Morning caused a stir, prompting an immediate security response. Following the alert, Mumbai Police and Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) launched a thorough search operation across the hospital premises.

The bomb squad conducted a detailed inspection, but no suspicious items were found, police confirmed later in the day.

Authorities have termed it a hoax threat, though the legal process is underway to trace the origin of the email. Security at the hospital was temporarily heightened following the threat.

DCP Ragsudha Said, A Hoax Bomb mail threat was received at TATA Memorial Hospital today Morning. Nothing suspicious found. Further legal process is going on. Investigations are ongoing to identify the sender of the email and ascertain the motive behind the act.
