A Jumbo Block of 3.5 hours will be taken from 01.00 am to 04.30 am during the intervening night of Saturday/Sunday, 10th/11th May, 2025 on UP and DOWN slow lines between Mahim Jn. and Santacruz stations for maintenance of track, signaling and overhead equipment.

`According to Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway,  Vineet Abhishek, during the block all DOWN slow line trains will run on DOWN Fast lines between Mumbai Central and Santacruz stations. These trains will not halt at Mahalaxmi, Prabhadevi & Matunga Road stations for want of platform & will take double halt at Lower Parel, Mahim & Khar Road stations due to inadequate platform length. Likewise, UP Slow line trains will run on UP Fast line between Santacruz to Mumbai Central/Churchgate.

Hence, these trains will take double halt at Khar Road station due to inadequate length of platform and will not halt halt at Mahim, Matunga Road, Prabhadevi, Lower Parel & Mahalaxmi stations for want of platform.  Due to the block some UP and DOWN suburban trains will remain cancelled.

Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements.

There will be NO BLOCK in DAY TIME over Western Railway Suburban section on Sunday, 11th May, 2025.
