Aamir Khan with His Father: Aamir Khan comes from a film family, but it was not easy for him to make a career in Bollywood. His father Tahir Hussain was a well-known filmmaker, but he did not want to see his children in the film industry. Tahir found this profession unstable and risky. Aamir’s uncle Nasir Hussain was a successful filmmaker, yet Tahir Hussain did not have much confidence in the industry.

Recently, Aamir shared some important stories of his life at a summit. He told, “My father refused me to go to films. I knew that if he came to know that I was going into the film line, he would take my life.”

Aamir said, “I grew up in a family where my father was a film producer, but still we were asked to stay away from films. My parents were strictly against it.

Aamir further explained that he had to go to films against the wishes of his family. Aamir says, “I was not allowed to talk. My father was very angry, so we did not dare to say anything in front of him.”

Number one in tennis, but father stopped

Aamir narrated another story which shows the strictness of the father in his life. He told that he was very good in tennis in Teenage. He recalls, “I was number one in sub-junirs in Maharashtra and used to play tennis 5–6 hours a day. But once the exam failed by a few marks, the father got very angry and he immediately stopped playing tennis. My father came in anger and said that I would not play tennis from now. I could not play tennis again after that.”

First time acting

After tennis, Aamir acted in a short film. Incidentally, actress Shabana Azmi watched the film and praised Aamir’s work. When she came to know that Aamir is the son of Tahir Hussain, she said that she would definitely say this to Aamir’s father. But this made Aamir nervous. they tell. “I told him that if you told them, I will not survive- I will never be an actor. Please do not tell them.”

Step in films and 36 years journey

A few years later, Aamir made his debut with his uncle Nasir Hussain’s production film “Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak”, directed by his cousin Mansoor Khan. Now Aamir Khan has spent more than 36 years in the industry. This is the place where his father was strictly refusing to come. Aamir Khan’s new film ‘Stars Zameen Par’ is going to be released soon.
