UPSC Important Notice: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct the preliminary examination for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 on May 25, 2025. The Commission has issued an important notice for the candidates of the PwBD / PwD category, in which information related to the change of scribe has been given.

UPSC Preliminary Examination 2025 will be conducted on 25 May 2025 in two shifts. In the first shift, the General Studies (Paper-I) exam will be held from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, while in the second shift, the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) Paper-II will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

What is written in the notice?

The Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) has issued an important notice stating that the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2025 will be conducted on 25 May 2025 (Sunday) all over India.

Candidates who have applied for the exam under PwBD/PwD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) category and have opted for the scribe facility are informed that if they wish to change their scribe, they may send their request by email to uscsp-upsc@nic.in by 4 PM on 18 May 2025 by sending details of their new scribe.

The Commission has also clarified that only requests received within the deadline on this email ID (uscsp-upsc@nic.in) will be considered. Any request sent to any other email address, or received after 18 May 2025 will not be considered. Candidates are advised to strictly adhere to the deadline so that there is no problem related to scribe before the examination.
