Bhubaneswar In order to put the finishing touches on the ambitious ‘Odisha Vision 2036 and 2047’ plan, a path to accomplish the aim of a developed Odisha by 2036, the Odisha government conducted a state-level workshop here where experts from a variety of industries were consulted.

Participating at the ceremony on Friday were Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, a number of important Cabinet Ministers, the Chief Secretary, top bureaucrats, business executives, and notable figures from various industries.

The workshop’s principal goal was to discuss Odisha’s plan to rank among India’s top five developed states by 2036, the state’s centennial year.

The state government will create a roadmap for a developed Odisha by creating an effective vision document based on the recommendations made by the ministers, top political figures, former bureaucrats, and other subject matter experts at the workshop, CM Majhi told reporters.

“To propel Odisha’s development by 2036, we are concentrating on 36 important projects across several industries. Our objective is to become in line with the ‘Viksit Bharat’ vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi by 2047. During his speech, the Chief Minister said that Odisha must be in the forefront of inclusive and collaborative development.

Furthermore, over 3.2 lakh public ideas have been submitted by the state government so far to help form the vision papers.

“As the nation’s first state, Odisha is preparing the ambitious vision document ‘Odisha Vision 2036 and 2047’ by using artificial intelligence to analyse data and suggestions shared by the public,” the chief minister said.

The Chief Minister emphasised the state’s economic goals, saying, “Odisha has enormous potential and we are steadily moving towards achieving a $500 billion economy.” Our main goal is to see all industries grow.

“Odisha will also play a key role in achieving the goal of making a ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047,” CM stated.

In order to engage with experts on the vision paper, the Chief Minister announced that three regional consultation workshops will soon be organised in Sambalpur, Balasore, and Jeypore.

The 2036 and 2047 vision documents would be finished within the next 15 days, the Odisha government had previously said on April 23.
