Diljit Dosanjh created a massive buzz on the internet with his debut in the 2025 Met Gala held at the metropolitan museum of Art in New York. The singer-actor made flaunted his Maharaja inspired look, crafted by Prabal Gurung. He has now been chosen as the Best dressed celeb as per a voting poll conducted by Vogue, surpassing eternal stars and gala favourite Zendaya and Rihanna.

The fashion magazine released the Best Dressed list wherein open voting was done by people amongst the 307 different outfits from the event.

Diljit won the accolade with his tribute to Maharaja Bhupinder Singh in an ivory sherwani, turban and luxurious jewellery chained with an intricate necklace. He carried a ceremonial sword and a cape featuring the map of Punjab inscribed with Gurmukhi script.

The singer was followed by a South Korean rapper-singer S Coups bagging the second rank in a gray Boss suit featuring a Korean hanbok jacket. Thereafter Hollywood star Zendaya in a Louis Vuitton suit, singer Teyana Taylor in Ruth E Carter design and popstar Rihanna in Marc Jacobs look took the respective spots.

Moving on, Nicki Minaj bagged the next mark with a custom made Thom Browne outfit, Shakira starred in a Prabal Gurang designed pink gown and Lewis Hamilton was seen in  Grace Wales Bonner. Fans then showered the votes for Lisa in Louis Vuitton, and Sabrina Carpenter again in Louis Vuitton.
