For Indian applicants, scholarships are available in four categories:

Research Students: Advanced studies with the option to progress to Master’s/PhD.

National Institute of Technology: Associate degree (diploma-level studies).

Who can apply?

The scholarship is available to citizens of nations that have diplomatic ties with Japan. Applicants must meet academic requirements for their chosen course. Candidates must be born on or after April 2, 1990, and have a bachelor's degree (or above) in order to participate in research investigations. Maintaining good physical and mental health is crucial, and depending on the course, fluency in either English or Japanese may be needed.
