Britain's Got Talent is set for a major scheduling change next week, as confirmed by dynamic duo Ant and Dec.

The popular presenters broke the news at the conclusion of Saturday's third live semi-final, stating: "That's it from us but we'll be here next Sunday. Yes, it's Sunday night at 7pm!"

They added: "Thank you for watching, see you next Sunday night!"

The talent show's move to a Sunday slot comes as the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final 2025 takes over the airwaves on Saturday, May 17 at 8pm, broadcast on both BBC One and BBC iPlayer, which would interfere with BGT's usual timing.

What's more, with the Live FA Cup Final also scheduled for May 17th, having coverage on ITV and ITV X from 3pm until 7:15pm, this sporting event too collides with Britain's Got Talent's regular 7pm start, reports Belfast Live.

Fans took to Twitter, now called X, to discuss the changed timings, with one user noting: "With the Eurovision grand final happening next Saturday, Semi-Final 4 will be on next Sunday instead. #BGT."

Meanwhile, another tweet questioned: "@BGT Howcome BGT is on Sunday next week when all that will be shown on the Saturday is Deal Or No Deal and Beat The Chasers? #BGT." This prompted a response from a different fan clarifying that the shift was due to the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.

During Saturday's semi-final, performers like Albert Amores, Bao Cuong, Electric Umbrella, Harry and Lewis, Jasmine Rice, Mickey Callisto, Ping Pong Pang, and RuMac took the stage, vying for a chance to advance in the competition.

Jasmine Rice, who clinched Bruno Tonioli's Golden Buzzer, and Ping Pong Pang triumphed in the latest round, securing their spots in the finals of Britain's Got Talent.

However, the third live semi-final on Saturday night was not without its hitches, as viewers quickly became exasperated over one detail.

The live audience's fervour seemed to be too much for some at home, prompting them to take to Twitter, now X, to complain about the excessive noise that often muffled the judges' comments and the acts' performances.

One vexed fan pleaded: "Dear Audience Pipe down please Many thanks Everyone #BGT #BritainsGotTalent."

Others expressed their irritation more bluntly, with tweets like: "BRUH SHUT UP AUDIENCE #bgt", "Audience shut up. My ears can't handle you screaming! #BGT", "@BGT #BGT The audience are driving me insane..... shut up! ! ! ! ! ! ! !" and "This is why I can't stand the audience at these live shows #BGT."

Britain's Got Talent continues next Sunday at 7pm on ITV and ITV X.
