New Delhi, May 11, 2025 — Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has officially launched the 2025 Honda CB650R and CBR650R in India, now equipped with revolutionary E-Clutch technology. This cutting-edge feature allows riders to shift gears seamlessly without engaging the clutch leverenhancing the overall riding experience.
The 2025 Honda CB650R is priced at ₹9.60 lakhwhile the CBR650R carries a price tag of ₹10.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Bookings are open across Honda Big Wing dealerships nationwide.
The E-Clutch is a globally patented technology by Honda, first introduced in late 2023. It enables riders to start, stop, and shift gears without using the clutch leveroffering an intuitive and fatigue-free riding experience. Unlike fully automatic systems, the E-Clutch blends the feel of manual transmission with advanced automation.
This system integrates features of a Quickshifter, manual clutchand Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). Riders still have the option to use the traditional clutch and shifter when preferred. The E-Clutch adds approximately 2.8 kg to the motorcycle’s total weight.
The CB650R continues to embrace its neo-retro styling with a muscular stance. Key highlights include:

The E-Clutch variant is priced about ₹40,000 more than the standard version.
