In zone number-3 of Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, a tiger attacked a ranger and killed him. Tiger sat on ranger's body for 20 minutes.

As per information, ranger Devendra Chaudhary was at Jogi Mahal on a regular patrolling at around 3 pm on Sunday as he had additional charge of this area. 

Suddenly, a tiger attacked him near Chhoti Chhatri and sat on the ranger for a long time.

It took much effort to foresters to chased away tiger. Devendra was taken to the district hospital, where the doctor declared him brought dead. The identity of the tiger is not known yet.
