Saru presents an inspiring tale of a determined young girl from a rural village who defies traditional norms and family pressure to chase her dreams of getting an education. Pankit steps into the character of Chandru, a pivotal figure in the story who brings depth to this meaningful journey.
"In television, the only hero is the story," he says. "And as Saru's father, I'm playing a role that has the heart of this narrative."
