The love drama film Ishaqzaade, starring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra, has finally reached its 13-year mark. The movie, which was released on May 11, 2012, was Arjun’s Bollywood debut. Habib Faisal directed it, while Aditya Chopra, working for Yash Raj Films, produced it. The actor sent a heartfelt letter he penned to his 26-year-old self on Instagram to commemorate the momentous “Dear 26-year-old Arjun, you did it,” the message says. You’re on the brink of a desire that seemed unattainable at one point. I’m aware of how many nights you spent up watching movies because you thought they would serve as your getaway or your mission.
Additionally, the actor from 2 States discussed how he changed his physique to fit the part of Parma. “You worked hard to transform not only your body but also your mind and spirit,” he said. The discipline, the hours, and the failures were all worthwhile. Remain modest. Continue to be hungry. Remember that this trip started with a tormented child who was just too devoted to movies to give up. Arjun 2.0, with pride and love.
Additionally, the message included some old photos of Arjun as a youngster and his Ishaqzaade character Parma. “The boy who loved films became the man who lives for them,” he captioned the photo he shared. Yesterday was the 13th anniversary of Ishaqzaade—appreciative, rooted, and developing.
Parma Chauhan (Arjun Kapoor) and Zoya Qureshi (Parineeti Chopra), two individuals from diametrically opposed political and religious backgrounds, fall in love in Ishaqzaade. Because of the long-standing animosity between their families, their love is seen as a danger, which leads to arguments and betrayals. The movie explores the subtleties of their unlawful connection as well as the fallout from their actions in a violent and hateful society.
Following Ishaqzaade, Arjun and Parineeti worked together in Namastey England, another romantic drama that did not do well at the box office.
Arjun recently appeared opposite Bhumi Pednekar, Rakul Preet Singh, and Harsh Gujral in the romantic comedy Mere Husband Ki Biwi. Mudassar Aziz directed the movie. His next appearance will be in No Entry 2, which also stars Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh.
