Obnews Auto Desk: If there is talk of a scooter in India, then the name of Honda Activa and TVS Jupiter comes first. Both these scooters are easily seen in every street. But do you know that there is also a scooter who is gaining tremendous popularity abroad despite being ‘Made in India’? Yes, we are talking about Honda Navi, who is at the top of Indian scooter exports.
A total of 5,69,093 scooters were exported from India in FY 2024-25, which is 11% higher than the previous year. Honda Navi’s contribution to these figures was the largest contribution, with a total of 1,43,583 units abroad. It is 25% of the total scooter exported.
Along with Honda Navi, scooters like Honda Dio and Activa are also included in exports. Honda exported a total of 3,11,977 units. After this, TVS Motor exported 90,405 units and Yamaha Motor India exported 69,383 units.
