Famous YouTuber and social media star Elvish Yadav has suffered a major setback from the Allahabad High Court. The court rejected his plea to cancel the FIR and charge sheet registered in a case to the alleged use of snakes in the rave parties and alleged use of drugs. Now he will have to face this case in the CJM court of Ghaziabad. This case is not only questioning Elvish’s image, but is also discussing the responsibilities of social media influencers.
The single bench of the Allahabad High Court, which was chaired by Justice Saurabh Srivastava, dismissed Elvish Yadav’s plea on Monday. The petition was to a trial lodged at Sector-49 police station in Noida, accusing them of violation of Wildlife Protection Act and snake poison (Snake venom) and use of drugs in rave parties. The Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Court of Gautam Budh Nagar accepted the charge sheet in the case and issued summons to Elvish, which he challenged in the High Court. With this decision of the court, Elvish will now have to follow the legal process.
Noida Police has made serious allegations against Elvish Yadav. According to the charge sheet, Elvish misused snakes and their poison for his YouTube video. In addition, they are accused of organizing rave parties, calling foreign guests, and taking snake poison and other drugs. These activities are not only illegal, but also violate wildlife protection laws. The case has sparked extensive debate on social media, where people are questioning the moral responsibility of the influencers.
Elvish Yadav, while dismissing the allegations, claimed that the case against him is a conspiracy to discredit him. His petition stated that there is not enough evidence in the charge sheet and summons order. However, the High Court did not accept his arguments and ordered the matter to be taken forward. Elvish fans have come out in support of him on social media, but legal experts say strict action may be taken in the matter.
