IPL 2025 Resumption Announcement

On Monday evening, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed that the TATA IPL 2025 will restart on May 17.


Following thorough discussions with government officials, security agencies, and other essential stakeholders, the Board has decided to continue with the remainder of the season.


The tournament will kick off on May 17, featuring a total of 17 matches held at six different venues, with the grand finale scheduled for June 3, according to a statement from the BCCI.


The updated schedule includes two double-header days, which will take place on two Sundays. Details regarding the venues for the playoff matches will be revealed later.


Playoff Schedule

The playoffs are set for the following dates:

Qualifier 1 – May 29

Eliminator – May 30

Qualifier 2 – June 1

Final – June 3
