After collaborating with Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, Bengali actor Jisshu Sengupta has more to give his fans. The two will appear together on screen in Bhoot Bangla, their next horror-comedy film. When Sengupta shared a joyful moment from the movie set, both their friends and admirers took notice.
Jisshu Sengupta shared a monochromatic image from the Bhoot Bangla filming sets, which included Akshay Kumar, on Instagram. Sengupta’s joy at being reunited with the Bollywood actor was evident on his face as he took the photo. The Bengali actor captioned the photo, “Fun Times From The Sets Of #bhootbangla,” leaving his fans and industry mates amazed by the image.
John Abraham responded by giving Akshay Kumar a sweet moniker and said, “Damn, can’t wait for this collab, Pitaji.” Iman Chakraborty, a well-known singer, also wrote, “Amar hoye ektu “Hi” bole dao (Please say Hi on behalf of me).” One of Sengupta’s admirers referred to the partnership as “Terrific,” while Bengali actress Darshana Banik posted two heart-shaped emojis in the comments section. “Both are my favorites,” said another commenter.
In addition to the two main actors, Wamiqa Gabbi, Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Sharman Joshi, Mithila Palkar, Rajpal Naurang Yadav, Jaaved Jaaferi, and several more play important parts in Bhoot Bangla. After almost 14 years apart, he will reunite with Akshay Kumar in the next horror-comedy flick, which is directed by Priyadarshan.
The first glimpse of Bhoot Bangla, which was written by Aakash Kaushik, Abhilash S. Nair, and Priyadarshan, was unveiled on Akshay’s birthday last year. The singer was shown drinking milk from a dish as a black cat sat on his shoulder in the Instagram motion poster, which included what seemed to be a flaming moon in the backdrop.
Akshay shared the first glimpse of the film along with his joy at seeing Priyadarshan again after a few years apart. “Year after year, I appreciate your devotion on my birthday! Enjoying this year’s celebration with Bhooth Bangla’s debut! After 14 years, I can’t wait to work with Priyadarshan once again. It has taken a while for this ideal partnership to materialize. I’m very excited to tell you all about this amazing adventure. “Watch this space for the magic,” he captioned the photo.
On April 2 of next year, Bhoot Bangla, which is produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor under the auspices of Balaji Motion Pictures, will be released in theaters.
