CBSE 10th 12th Result 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to release the results of 10th and 12th board examinations soon. The board will give the students dissatisfied with the result an opportunity to check the marks and re-evaluate them. But the board has made a slight change in this process. Now the students will have to first take a photocopy of their copy, and after that they will be able to apply for checking and re-evaluation of marks.

In the earlier process, the students had to first apply to check their marks. Then the photocopy of the answer sheets had to be demanded, and finally, re-evaluation took place. Now in the new process, this sequence has changed; now the students will first get the photocopy of the answer sheets, so that they can see their performance and the examiner's comments first. After this, they can decide whether they want to apply for checking the marks, re-evaluation, or both.

Why was the process changed?

CBSE said that this change aims to give students better information about their answer sheets, so that they can make better decisions. Detailed guidelines and a timetable for this will be issued after the results of the board exam are declared. The class 10 exam was held from February 15 to March 1, and the class 12 exam was held from February 15 to April 4. More than 42 lakh students appeared in the exam this year.

Checking of marks and/or re-evaluation

The new system aims to allow students to see their evaluated answer sheets first, so that they can get clarity about the marks obtained, the examiner's comments and possible mistakes. After getting the photocopy, students can check their answer sheet and then apply for checking of marks, re-evaluation of a particular question or both, as per the prescribed procedure.
