Former Arsenal forward Mika Biereth's value has reportedly sky-rocketed to nearly ten times the amount the Gunners sold him for, following his impressive performances across Europe.

After failing to secure a spot in , Biereth was sold to Sturm Graz for £4million, following a successful loan spell. However, his stint in Austria was short-lived as Monaco swooped in, allowing Sturm Graz to triple their investment.

In Monaco, Biereth's goal-scoring prowess has been instrumental in securing the club's return to the Currently sitting third in the league with just one match remaining, they are out of reach for any competitors.

Biereth's 13 goals in 16 league appearances have left Mikel Arteta and Arsenal supporters pondering over what could have been. His scoring record is only surpassed by PSG's Ousmane Dembele in terms of goals per 90 minutes.

As reported by L'Equipe (via ), an unnamed club is prepared to shell out nearly £30million for the 22 year old based on his recent performances, leaving Monaco with a decision to make. Biereth isn't the only Monaco player drawing attention, with Premier League clubs eyeing playmaker Maghnes Akliouche and Barcelona showing interest in Eliesse Ben Seghir, reports .

Biereth has previously opened up about his decision to leave the Gunners, stating that there are numerous instances where players are released at a young age, only to prove themselves later on. Biereth told during his Sturm Graz spell. "Then you show a couple of years later that you probably were ready.

"Making it at Arsenal isn’t the be-all and end-all of someone’s career. There are many ways of having a successful career outside of Arsenal.”

Arsenal legend Ian Wright spoke to in March about his conversations with Biereth. Wright acknowledged that Arsenal's injury crisis might have presented Biereth with an opportunity to break into the first team this season.

"If I’m honest it must’ve been something with the plans Arsenal had. Mika should’ve been in and around it at the moment," he said.

"One of our chats early on was about him showing himself in the preseason for Arsenal and giving it his best go. But he had the bravery to go to Scotland, then Austria and now France and that is what shows he wants to be the best!

"He has to be playing to prove that. His record speaks for itself. It’s disappointing for Arsenal but on a human level, I’m delighted for him."
