A sprawling French Villa which was once home to iconic actor has landed on the market for £20million. Located in the South of France with views of Nice and the glittering Mediterranean Sea, the property was fit for Connery and his wife Micheline Roquebrune during .

Still referred to by locals as "Sean's place" or the "Bond Villa," the home is perched above the waters and carved into the hillside and boasts over 10,000 square feet. It also has cliff views of the Promenade des Anglais and the Old Port. Built in the 1920s, the property retains its French charm with its stone architecture and colourful wisteria vines.

Officially named Villa Roc Fleuri, the current owners picked up the property in 2015 for an undisclosed amount and have given it a complete renovation.

The villa was on the market back in late 2020 for €30million (£25million) with five levels, an elevator, a rooftop terrace and five bedrooms and bathrooms across each floor.

The entrance opens into the grand hall with floor-to-ceiling windows capturing more scenic views of the mountains and sea.

The main level also houses a family room, a second living room, and a kitchenette, while the dining room, kitchen and wine cellar are located on the lower floor which opens to a garden terrace.

The upper-level master suite has his-and-her baths, a dressing room and a private balcony. Below are three guest suites, a study and a fifth bedroom. The mansion also has a separate caretaker's apartment.

The bottom level has a fitness complex with a gym and an indoor swimming pool that opens to the gardens, shower and dressing areas. As well as a spa area, which includes an indoor heated infinity pool overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

It's historic charm is prevalent with intricate wood paneling, wrought-iron staircases, mosaic inlays, and detailed ceiling moldings.

There's also a second villa at the entrance, divided into two private guest apartments.
