The Eurovision Song Contest is back, so who will be the hosts during the grand final this weekend?

After Switzerland's success last year, the Eurovision Song Contest will this time be held at the St Jakobshalle, in Basel, where 26 countries will be performing in the hope of being crowned the next Eurovision winners.

As always, presenters from the host country will be leading proceedings with fans eager to know more about the trio of stars ready to present the global event.

Who are the Eurovision 2025 hosts?

The Eurovision Song Contest grand final is going to be hosted by three women, Hazel Brugger, Michelle Hunziker and Sandra Studer.

But for the semi-finals on Tuesday, 13th May, and Thursday, 15th May, the evenings will be presented by just Brugger and Studer.

Hazel Brugger

The first of the three Eurovision 2025 hosts is award-winning comedian and presenter Hazel Brugger.

Born in the US, she grew up near Zurich and now lives in the Darmstadt region of Germany.

Brugger is a winner of the Salzburg Bull, a Swiss Comedy Award, a German Comedy Award and was labelled the "queen of wit" by the jury of the German Kleinkunstpreis.

Michelle Hunziker

Described as "one of Europe's most beloved entertainers" by the Eurovision Song Contest, Hunziker is renowned for a number of German and Italian shows.

These include Wetten, dass...?, Striscia la Notizia, as well as Festival di Sanremo.

Sandra Studer

Sandra Studer has long been associated with the Eurovision Song Contest, having taken part in the international competition herself in 1991.

Under the stage name Sandra Simo, she represented Sweden with the song Canzone Per Te and came in a respectable fifth place.

Since then, Studer has worked as a presenter, actress and singer, and has worked on the iconic contest as the national pre-selection host, spokesperson and commentator.

Talking about their choice of hosts, co-executive producers of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 Moritz Stadler and Reto Peritz said: "For the world's biggest show, it was important for us to recruit hosts who bring more than just presenting skills - Hazel, Sandra, and Michelle bring unique versatility with additional talents such as comedy, dance and singing.

"We are incredibly proud to have signed such impressive and diverse women as hosts."

The Eurovision Song Contest's grand final airs on Saturday, May 17, from 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
