New Delhi: On the night of 13 May, Airtel users once again faced serious problems to the network. According to the report of Downdetector, around 8:30 pm, thousands of people lodged complaints about problems like call drop, internet closed and weak signal. The problem was seen more severely in Chennai, Coimbatore, Dindigul, Thrissur and parts of Delhi.

Users also shared their displeasure and problems on the social media platform X. According to data from Downdetector, about 65% of users complained of not getting signals, while 20% had to face problems in mobile services and 15% in internet connectivity.

1. Airplane mode on on-off

Turn on the airplane mode for some time in the phone and turn off again after a few seconds. This makes the network searched again and the signal can return.

2. Restart to the phone

Restart the phone once to remove small technical difficulties. This may refresh the network setup.

3. Remove the SIM card and apply again

Sometimes the SIM card becomes loose so that the network does not come. Take out the sim and clean it and apply it again.

4. Reset network settings

Go to the phone’s settings and choose the option of ‘Reset Network Settings’. This step often fixes the hidden problems of the network.

5. APN settings update

If the Internet is not running then the APN settings of the mobile may be wrong. Update the phone by taking the correct settings from Airtel’s website or customer care.
