Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja starrer Jhanak has been making it to the headlines for the past couple of months because of the reports of the show taking a leap. In February this year, there were reports that the show is taking a leap, and the lead cast will be changed. However, the leap was later postponed. But now, it is finally happening, and while there were reports that Hiba and Krushal will have to exit the show, the former, while talking to Hindustan Times, revealed that she is quitting the show as she can't play a mother to someone who is around her age in real life.

Hiba stated, “I won’t be a part of the show after the leap. I am not comfortable playing a mother to someone closer to my age. There were discussions, and we somehow knew it was happening, but the confirmation came a few days ago."

“Jhanak and Aniruddha’s daughter Arshi will grow up post-leap. The story will revolve around her, and obviously, someone closer to my age will be cast. How can I play a mother to someone my age? I am not comfortable,' the actress added.
