On Tuesday, Prerna Singh, the ACEO, conducted an inspection of the Char Murti Underpass and the ongoing construction of Shahberi Road in Greater Noida West. She urged the officials to expedite the construction of the underpass and complete the road widening without delay.
Prerna Singh began her visit at Char Murti Chowk, assessing the bridge's construction. An underpass is being developed adjacent to the 60-meter road. To ensure smooth progress, she instructed the officials to relocate the sewer lines and trees situated around the roundabout. She also emphasized that there would be consequences if the renovation was not completed on schedule.
She instructed OSD Abhishek Pathak to oversee the horticultural activities at the site. Accompanied by his team, Pathak was tasked with ensuring that all necessary steps were taken.
Furthermore, the ACEO approved enhancements to the culvert located between Gaur City and Char Murti, which often causes traffic congestion. She directed that work on this project commence immediately to alleviate road issues.
Once the underpass is completed, commuters traveling between Noida, Ghaziabad, and Greater Noida will experience significant time savings. The ACEO also reviewed the ongoing work on Shahberi Road, noting that the widening process is progressing rapidly and is expected to conclude within two weeks. She is committed to ensuring that the project meets or exceeds its deadlines.
The widening of Shahberi Road is anticipated to greatly reduce traffic for those traveling between Ghaziabad, Noida, and Greater Noida. During the inspection, Prabhat Shankar, the Work Circle In-Charge, and Manager Nitish Kumar were also present.
