New Delhi: Vodafone Idea (VI) has finally started its high-speed 5G service in Delhi and NCR. From May 15, users will get better calling and video streaming experience with sharp internet. Earlier, VI started 5G services in Mumbai, Patna and Chandigarh. After Jio and Airtel, now VI is also expanding 5G networks across the country.

VI 5G in all 17 circles by 2025

The company aims to start 5G service in all 17 priority circles by August 2025, where VI has achieved 5G spectrum. This rollout has brought great relief for users, especially for those who were waiting for high-speed network.

5G plans will start from Rs 299

VI has provided unlimited 5G data facility with plans starting from Rs 299 under its indrodactory offer. The company claims that users on its 5G network will get excellent experience in gaming, streaming, video calling and downloading. But keep in mind, this service will be available on the same smartphones which support 5G.

VI 299 Plan: What is special?

VI’s most economical 5G plan is Rs 299, which has a validity of 28 days. In this plan, users get 1GB of high-speed data per day, unlimited calling on any network and 100 SMS daily. The speed decreases to 64kbps after the data limit is over.

The company will invest 55,000 crore in three years

VI plans to invest around Rs 55,000 crore for the expansion of 5G network in 17 circles in the next three years. After Delhi-NCR, the company is also preparing to start service in cities like Bengaluru and Mysore.
