According to the ongoing academic calendar, summer holidays will remain from June 2 to June 21, 2025 this year. Overall, students will get a holiday of 20 days.

These holidays will be applicable in the state government, aided, project, quite, primary, secondary and higher secondary schools. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in most districts of Bihar is reaching 42 to 45 degrees Celsius. After 9 o’clock in the morning, the sun becomes hot, due to which school children are facing a lot of trouble. Humid and strong winds have worsened the situation.

However, no new updates have come from the Education Department regarding the summer holidays so far. Nevertheless, it is believed that if the weather conditions worsen, it can also be considered on the holidays or starting before.

Meanwhile, the Education Department has directed all schools that no additional project work or homework should be given to children during the holidays that they need to go out. Along with this, the school management has also been asked to prepare a summer camp or online activities plan for children.
