Weight Gain: Eating Golgappa really increases weight? 90% of people are unaware of this because of this

News India Live, Digital Desk: Golgappa is India’s favorite street food. It is also called Panipuri. Golgappas are being consumed not only in the country but also abroad. Its spicy and spicy taste attracts people. Everyone gets watery in the mouth of potato spices and small crispy puris filled with spicy water. Golgappas are often considered fat-free fast food, but according to health experts it also contains good amounts of calories and oil. In such a situation, excessive intake should be avoided.

Noida Diet Mantra Clinic Senior dietist Kamini Sinha told News18 that Golgappa is made with flour or semolina and fried in oil. Spices, mint, tamarind and other things are added to its water. Its filler includes ingredients like potato, chickpeas, peas, yogurt, mint etc.

Golgappas have lots of carbohydrates simultaneously, especially when the puris of refined flour are put in them. These puris are fried in oil, so they have a lot of calories. If you eat too much golgappas, you inadvertently consume more calories, which can increase weight. In such a situation, you should not eat too much golgappas.

The dietist said that the oil used in making Golgappas can also contribute to weight gain. When the puris are fried in oil, they absorb the oil, adding more fat and calories to them. Especially if Golgappas are eaten in large quantities, then this fat can increase weight by accumulating in the body. Excess intake of spices and salt used in Golgappa can also be harmful to the body. Eating too much salt can accumulate water in the body, which can temporarily increase weight. However, eating more salt also increases the risk of high blood pressure and other health problems.

Now the question is, what is the right way to eat Golgappa? On this, the expert said that Golgappas should be eaten in limited quantity. Eating more can increase the amount of calories. Try not to use too much oil or salt in Golgappa. Eat it with plain water or curd, so that the taste remains and the amount of calories is also controlled. It is better to make Golgappas at home instead of street food. At home you can make it with fresh and healthy ingredients, which will reduce calories and get more nutrition. Apart from this, if you have any kind of health problem, then avoid eating water.
