Liverpool seal Frimpong deal

have wasted no time in securing their first signing of the summer with Bayer Leverkusen defender Jeremie Frimpong set to arrive at the club. According to , the Dutchman has agreed a five-year deal with the champions.

Liverpool are set to activate a €35million (£29.6m) release clause written into his contract with the German side. Frimpong is also set to undergo a medical with his potential new club.

Frimpong has been with Leverkusen since a move from Celtic in January 2021. He helped the side to the Bundesliga crown last term.
