2025 PGA Championship prize money
The total purse for the 2025 PGA Championship is a record-breaking £14.3million ($19m), a slight jump on the £14.01m prize pot from last year. Reigning champion Xander Schauffele bagged a cool £2.5m for his exploits 12 months ago, with the winner set to take just shy of £2.6m ($3.42m) this year.

Other winning perks for the PGA Championship champion
One of the main perks for the PGA Championship victor is a lifetime exemption for future editions of the tournament. It was exercised by Padraig Harrington for this week's event, with the Irishman having won the tournament in 2008.
The Masters is the only major to offer such a bonus, and the similarities don't stop there, with a Champions Dinner also on the cards for the winner. What's more, a five-year exemption from golf's other three major championships is also offered to the winner.

Biggest PGA Tour earners so far this year
As the only player on Tour with three victories to his name, McIlroy sits top of the money standings for 2025, having already banked over £10m. A chunk of that is the £3.1m he earned for securing the year's first major championship at Augusta National last month.
Justin Thomas has placed well throughout, with victory at the RBC Heritage his crowning moment so far this year. The two-time major winner has £7.2m to his name. Meanwhile, a Truist Championship triumph saw Sepp Straka jump eight places in the earnings, taking his total for 2025 to a handsome £6.9m. Scottie Scheffler follows just behind, having pocketed £5m since January.
